Historic Tate House
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
August Zincke, a local saddle maker and owner of one of the first commercial buildings in Llano, built the home during Llano's Iron Boom in the late 1880's and early 1990's.
The Tate House name sake is J.R. and Alice Tate, the last residents of the home and who both descend from pioneer Llano Families.
